Welcome to the 2015/16 season. We hope everyone is fit and well and rearing to go. We have said farewell to our club secretary of the past two years and

Division 1 key man Eddy Butcher, who has moved to Melbourne. We thank Eddy for his enormous contribution to the club on and off the field over the past 9 years. David Boge has stepped up to take over the secretary position, with the rest of our committee remaining unchanged, and Alf McCloskey continuing on as patron.

We have again been strongly supported by our sponsors Brothers Sports Club, Coral Coast Ford, Brad Grogan of DGZ Chartered Accountants and Tyreright.

We are also very grateful for several new sponsors who have come on board with John Howard through his company JABB Mining providing major sponsorship,

Chris Anderson’s Inline Cabinets, Northern Resource Consultants and Shawline Embroidery. We have new design playing shirts which will be included in the cost of your registration fee and also new design club dress shirts with all sponsors' names and logos on them. The dress shirts are available for purchase at a subsidised cost of $25 each.

Fees have been increased only by the cost of the playing shirt and are as follows. Note that it costs the club much more than these fees, with costs

heavily subsidised by sponsorship and fundraising.

Seniors: Registration fee: $70, Season playing fees: $340

For those who wish to pay their playing fees weekly, cost is $22 per game.

There is a special discounted "bridging fee" for players in their first season out of under-16. Their registration fee is the same, $70, but their season playing

fees are $280, or if paying weekly, cost is $18 per game.

Juniors - Season fees including registration and new design playing shirt - Under-16 & 14: $265, Under-12: $225, Under-10: $125. Juniors playing in senior grades will be required to pay $5 per game.

It is also a condition that all senior members and at least one parent of each junior player are at least a Sports member of Brothers Sports Club. Each senior

team must also conduct club raffles at Brothers from 6.45-7.45pm on Saturdays on roster (4 times for the season) while each junior team from under-12

upwards must do Spinna Winna duty at the same time and place on a roster (frequency depends on number of teams).

The senior season will kick-off with the traditional few weeks of Twenty/20 games star􀆟ng on 19th & 20th September and after winning the Division 1

NewsMail Cup, minor premiership and grand final last season but losing the Sugar Cities and Twenty/20 finals, we will be striving for a clean sweep this

season. Our Division 2 team will be aiming to go one better after being beaten in the T20 decider and grand final, while our Division 3's will be looking to pick

up where they left off after finishing the season very strongly after a disastrous start. We could have 3 Division 4 teams this campaign, with the Dads and Lads

dropping down from Division 3 to join Pink and Blue.

Juniors will start much earlier this season on Saturday 19th September for under-16, 14 and 12, but under-10’s will not start until Thursday night 8th October. We will also be aiming for a few junior premierships after we had just one grand finalist last season, in under-12.

Monday: Under-10: 4-5pm

Tuesday: Under-14: 4-5.30pm; Divisions 1 & 2: 5.30-7pm

Wednesday: Under-12: 4-5.30pm

Thursday: Under-16: 4-5.30pm; Divisions 3 & 4: 5.30-7pm

 

Milo In2Cricket for 5-to-7-year-olds will start on Friday 9th October
